WhatsApp updates its Windows Phone app, adds video trimming, document sharing feature

WhatsApp has updated it app for Windows Phone platform adding new features that it recently introduced on it Android app. The update bumps the version to 2.12.344 and add features like video trimming, document sharing, improvements and more.

With video trimming, you can trim the video as per your desired length before you send it to your friends. WhatsApp has also gets video compressor, to compress size of a video file, allowing you to easily send longer videos.

Moreover, the update also adds support for document sharing, which WhatsApp recently introduced to its Android and iOS apps. Currently, users will only be able to share documents in PDF format, however, WhatsApp is working on including support for more formats in a future update.
