ECS Live Station is a Windows 10 mini PC that can also wirelessly charge your phone
ECS (EliteGroup Computer Systems) has launched a new Windows 10 mini PC, the ECS Live Station. The main highlight of the PC is its capabilities to charge your phone wirelessly, thanks to a Qi charging pad, which sits on top of the PC.
The ECS Live station is powered by the outdated Intel Celeron N2830 bay Trail processor and comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It includes an HDMI port, IR sensor, 2 x USB 3.0 port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, a RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port (Realtek RTL8111G) and 3.5mm audio Jack. For wireless connectivity there is WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
The ECS Live Station is priced at ¥ 37,778 ($338 | 22,500) in Japan and is up for pre-order via Amazon Japan. Shipping begins April 9. The Amazon listing shows a few shots of the PCs innards, and it appears to be that the storage, RAM and wireless module are replaceable.
