Facebook App No Longer Supported On BlackBerry

It was a big hit to the BlackBerry space when WhatsApp announced that it is going to end the support to older mobile operating systems that included BlackBerry 10, a month ago. As if it wasn't enough when Facebook also decided to end its support too.

According to BlackBerry's blog, Facebook has discontinued its essential API support to Blackberry from 31st March 2016. The Company stated that they tried hard to change the minds of these 2 tech giants but it seems like their decision stays. Now BlackBerry has made an update to Facebook app mandatory to its users in order to surf Web- Based Facebook. The reason being assumed here, why these giants gave up on BlackBerry is that it holds only near half percent of the market share while other operating systems like Android, iOS and Microsoft crops 99.5% market share.
