LeEco schedules event for May 3 in India

LeEco recently launched the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 smartphone in China, and since India is one of the most important overseas market for the brand, it could bring these smartphones to India soon. LeEco has sent out invites for an event on May 3 in Mumbai, where the brand is rumored to launch the Le 2, Le Pro and Le Max 2. If not launch, we can expect LeEco to showcase these phones at the event, and reveal further plans.

However, the invite suggests that LeEco could launch its entertainment ecosystem at the event instead, which includes Super TVs. The brand could showcase the Super TVs model that it plans to launch in the country in the coming months.

LeEco recently teamed up with Eros International for VoD service and Yupp TV for live TV channels of its phones in the country. At the event, the company may announce partnership with other entertainment providers. Another possibility is that the brand could launch its VR headset.
