OnePlus One starts receiving Cyanogen OS 13 (Android 6.0.1)
Just a day ago OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei said that the Marshmallow update for OnePlus one is in the final testing stage and the rollout will begin 'very soon'. Now, OnePlus One is getting updated to Android Marshmallow in the form of Cyanogen OS 13. The Cyanogen OS 13 update (ZNHOEA26M) is based on Android 6.0.1, and brings several new feature, bug fixes and more.
Along with the Marshmallow goodies including App Permission, batter-saving Doze functionality and more, Cyanogen OS 13, brings its own tweaks which includes fingerprint recognition support beyond locking the home screen to specific apps, getting rid of encrypted Whisperpush text messages and more.
The Cyanogen OS 13 for OnePlus One weighs in at 508MB in size and is being rolled out over-the-air in phases, and once available for your device, you'll be notified. If you've not yet been notified you can use the Cyanogen Update Tracker App in Play Store.You can also download the OTA ZIP file and flash it manually using recovery.

- Whisperpush capability (encrypted SMS) removed
- Settings > About phone > Advanced mode removed
- Settings > Notification Drawer > Quick Settings removed
- QS panel configuration items such as 'enlarge first row' and 'show weather' now present on leftmost QS pane while in edit mode
- 'Advanced location settings' renamed to 'Tri-state location'
- New controls for 'Status bar icons' (repurposing of SystemUI tuner from AOSP)
- Settings > Lockscreen > Quick unlock removed
- Settings > Sim Cards > manual provisioning switch (Multisim) removed
- Settings > Lock screen > Owner info replaced with lock screen message
- New screen (AOSP) to show memory usage over a selected period of time
- Device specific implementations of double-tap-to-wake replaced by AOSP implementation
- CM implementation of silent mode replaced by AOSP implementation
- CM Protected apps: New folder UX for viewing protected content
- Fingerprint support for accessing protected content
- Enhanced ability to prevent access while retaining usability: A protected app can no longer be launched via Play Store
- App notifications and services are not hampered by protection status
- Power menu ability to swap System Profiles removed
- New SMS/MMS Application: Notable features such as 'Quick reply' are available
- Users retain ability to control fine-grained permissions via Settings > Privacy > Privacy Guard
- Snap Camera: Some devices now ship with an enhanced camera app based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon camera
