Oppo A37 mid-range 4G LTE smartphone announced

Oppo has announced a new mid-range 'A' series smartphone called the A37 in China. The phone has a plastic body and sports metal frame to give it a premium feel.

The Oppo A37 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor backed by Mali T860 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with ColorOS UI on top.

For photography it gets a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera for snapping selfies and video calling. The A37 has dual-SIM slots and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is backed by 2550mAh battery.

The Oppo A37 is priced at CNY 1299 ($200 | Rs. 13,000) and is available in China via China Telecom.It comes in Gold and Gold Rose colors.
