YU Yureka Note with 6-inch display gets official, priced at Rs. 13,499
A day after surfacing online, Micromax subsidary YU has officially announced the Yureka Note, the brand's sixth smartphone, and it does pack some decent hardware inside. YU says that the phone is targeted at users wanting a great multimedia and gaming experience.
Design-wise, the Yureka Note is a phablet with 6-inch screen and has a polycarbonate body with metallic frame. It has two mics, dual speakers with NXP smart PA, and fingerpint scanner at the back, which YU claims can wake and unlock the device in just 0.5 seconds. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The YU Yureka Note sports a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full Lamination display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor couple with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card.
For photography, it gets 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, PDAF, 5P lens and f/2.2 aperture. For clicking selfies and video calling you get a 8-megapixel front camera with wide-angle lens. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 4000mAh battery keeps the phone running.
The YU Yureka Note is priced at Rs. 13,499 and is now available offline via major brick and mortar stores across the country.
