Asus announces the ultra-thin ZenBook 3 laptop

Asus at the ongoing Computex event in Taipei, has introduced the next-gen ZenBook 3 Windows 10 laptop. The laptop's ultra-thin 11.9mm chassis is crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum allow, which is 50 percent stronger that the standard alloy used in laptops.

The Asus ZenBook 3 comes with 12.5-inch Full HD edge-to-edge display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, and can be configured with up to Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD storage. Other features include fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello support for quick log in, 4 x Harman Kardon speakers and reversible USB Type-C port.

The ZenBook 3 houses an innovative cooling system that features the world's slimmest fan design at 3mm. The laptop also features a full-size backlit keyboard and a glass-covered precision touchpad that incorporates palm-rejection technology, Smart Gestures and handwriting support. It provides up to nine hours of battery life and supports fast charging, that can charge the laptop up to 60 percent in just 49 minutes.
