LYF Water 5 with 5-inch display, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera launched for Rs. 11,699

Reliance Digital has expanded its LYF line up with the launch of LYF Water 5. Similar to other LYF smartphones, the Water 5 also comes with dual-SIM slot and 4G LTE w/ VoLTE support. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The LYF Water 5 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor further aided by Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, with storage expansion support via microSD card.

The camera department gets 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and making video calls. Apart from 4G LTE, the Water 5 supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is backed by 2920mAh battery, that promises upto 15 hours of 4G talk-time, 5 hours of video playback and 19 hours music playback. 

The LYF Water 5 is priced at Rs. 11,699 and is exclusively available from Amazon India. Earlier today, Reliance Jio extended 4G trails by offering SIM cards with unlimited 4G data and voice calls for a period of 90 days to anyone buying LYF smartphone via an invite-only system.
