Samsung Charm fitness bracelet now available in select markets


Samsung at MWC 2016, introduced 'Charm', a lifestyle band to track activities alongside the Galaxy S7/S7 edge. Now Samsung has announced the pricing and availability details of the activity tracker.

The Samsung Charm is priced at 40 EUR ($45 | Rs. 3,000) and is now available for purchase in Korea, Italy, France and Russia, and will launch soon in few other select markets. It comes in Gold, Black and Rose Quartz colors.

The Samsung Charm has a sleek design and looks like a jewellery. Its fitness tracking capabilities include counting number of steps taken, distance traveled and calories burned. It is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 and up and pairs with them over Bluetooth.

The Charm uses a small LED light to offer colored notification for incoming calls, messages and social media updates. The data collected by the activity tracker can be synced with the smartphone via Samsung S Health app. The wearable is backed by 17mAh battery, that is rated to deliver up to 18 days of life, if the LED notification are not in use.
