Sony accidentally shares image of Xperia E5

Sony Mobile has accidentally revealed image of its upcoming budget E series smartphone dubbed Xperia E5 in a Facebook post (now taken down), which will succeed Xperia E4.

The image shows two color variants of Xperia E5 in Black and White colors. The images were accompanied by a post which read "Eager, effortless, and easy on the eye - it's everything a smartphone should be. Say hello to your savvy new sidekick, Xperia E5."

Unfortunately, Sony did not share any other details like specs, availability and pricing of the Xperia E5. However a recent GFXBench listing of the Sony F3311 speculated to be the Xperia E5  points out that, the handset will come with 4.6-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735 SoC, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera w/ LED flash, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE and NFC. It is expected to with dual-SIM slots (depending on region) and run Android Marshmallow.

The official announcement of the Xperia E5 could happen in the next few weeks.
