Ulefone Future, a $240 smartphone with Helio P10 SoC, 4GB RAM, no side bezels

Chinese smartphone maker Ulefone has announced Future, a smartphone with curved screen display that has no bezels on the side. The handset offer powerful specs at very affordable price tag.

The Ulefone Future sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Curved screen IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor backed by Mali T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. On-baord storage is 32GB, that can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).

For photography, it gets 16-megapixel Samsung s5k3p3 rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. For video calling and taking selfies you get a 5-megapixel front camera. The fingerprint scanner is on the side and can unlock the device in 0.5 seconds. It also features NXP Smart audio PA chipset that offers enhanced audio quality.

The Dual SIM phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB Type-C for connectivity. It is backed by 3000mAh battery and supports fast charging.

Priced at Rs. $240 (Rs. 16,000), the Ulefone Future is now available for pre-order from Gearbest and other retailers and will ship later this month. It comes in Space Gray and Gold colors.
