WhatsApp Now Available As Desktop App

Earlier leaks suggested that the WhatsApp desktop client is on the way, however the leak was not leaked way ago and see, WhatsApp has released the desktop app already, Well that was fast! The app is announced at the official WhatsApp blog.

The update is all praise and whatsoever identical to the web client, the update is released for Windows 8 and above and Mac OS X 10.9 and above. Talking about other like Linux, they don't get the hands on this app for now, but can be said for later. The update is around 60Mb for Windows users which is quite a big one but why not, atleast they are providing you an app and allowing to save your time browsing all the way to the web client. The login requires a QR Code from your phone so at the initial moment you need to have your phone but later can be worked on desktop only.
