Xiaomi Mi Max teaser video released

Xiaomi's upcoming phablet the Mi Max will see the light of the day on May 10 at an event in China. Ahead of the official announcement the phablet was part of several leaks and now Xiaomi has released official teaser video of the Mi Max.

The 44 seconds video is shot in traditional Chinese setting, and shows a woman holding the Mi Max giving us the first look at the phablet and confirming the design. As per the video, the Mi Max will sport a metal body and have slim bezels on both sides of the screen. On the front there is capacitive button, while the fingerprint scanner is at the back.

As for the specs, the Xiaomi Mi Max is rumored to feature 6.4-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 650 SoC w/ Adreno 510 GPU, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB inbuilt storage, Dual/Hybrid SIM slot, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner and 4G LTE. It will run MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow and is expected to cost CNY 1299 ($200 | Rs. 13,500).
