Zotac announces ZBOX Mini PC Windows 10 PC Stick


Zotac introduced its first PC-on-Stick at CES 2016, and now the mini PC maker has announced that it will soon start selling its PC Sticks. It will come in two versions ZBOX PI220 and PI221 both have the same design but one version has fan, while the other uses passive cooling system (no fan) for quieter operation operation.

The ZBOX PI220 and PI221 features Intel x5-Z3800 Cherry Trail processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC storage and runs Windows 10 Home 32-bit software. Both come with an HDMI port, 10.100 Ethernet jack, USB 3.0 port, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3-in-1 micro SDXC card reader. It also includes a micro USB port for power and a detachable external antenna.

The ZBOX PI220 uses a 'SmartActive Micro Fan' cooling system, and measures 5.2 x 1.7 x 0.62-inches, while the fanless ZBOX PI221 is a bit thicker to allow extra space for air flow, to keep it cool.

Zotac is yet to announce pricing and availability details.
