Zotac unveils refreshed C, M, P series mini PCs
Zotac has introduced new additions to its range of mini PCs ahead of Computex 2016 in Taiwan. Most of them are updated versions of previous models that were unveiled at CES 2016. The new additions are to the ZBOX C series, ZOTAC P and ZOTAC M series PCs.
The ZBOX C series are the first full fledged fanless NUC models and feature improved thermal design with “direct copper contact and heat pipes that lead to aluminum fins” to dissipate heat accumulated inside. It also supports two external displays. They come in three different configurations:
ZBOX CI523 Nano: Core i3-6100U
ZBOX CI543 Nano: Core i5-6200U
ZBOX CI545 Nano: Core i5-6300U
Each of the ZBOX C series model come with Intel HD graphics USB 3.0 port, USB 3.1 Type-C port, USB 2.0 ports, DisplayPort, and HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet port and for wireless connectivity includes 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth. Zotac offer the C series PC in barebones configuration or Plus kits, which packs 4GB RAM and 120GB SSD storage.
The Zotac M series gets three new models ZBOX MI523, ZBOX MI543 and ZBOX MI545. They offer the same hardware specs as the Zotac C series but features a fan and heatsink, to keep the system cool instead of passive cooling system.
As for the Zotac P series, the latest entry is the Zotac PI330, that comes equipped with Intex x5-Z8500 Cherry Trail processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB eMMC storage. The tiny PC can connect to up to two external displays and comes with 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB 3.0 Type-C port, HDMI 1.4b, DisplayPort, 10/1000 Ethernet port, headset jack, microSD card slot, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
