Asus ZenPad Z8 7.8-inch tablet with Snapdragon 650 SoC, 4G LTE announced


Asus a day after launching the ZenFone Pegasus 3 in China, has launched ZenPad Z8 tablet in the U.S for Verizon wireless. The tablet runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with ZenUI on top.

The Asus ZenPad Z8 comes with 7.9-inch QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) IPS display and is powered by hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor further aided by Adreno 510 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card up to 128GB.

It gets 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE (via SIM slot), WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB Type-C. It is fueled by 4680mAh battery. 

Priced at $250 (Rs. 17,000), the Asus ZenPad Z8 is now available for pre-order through Verizon retail stores in the U.S and will be available starting June 23 in single Black color. It will be also be available on contract at $10.41 for 24 months.
