iBall Slide Bio-Mate 8-inch tablet with fingerprint scanner, voice calling launched for Rs. 7,999

iBall has expanded its Slide series tablet with the launch of Slide Bio-Mate. As the name suggests, the tablet comes with fingerprint sensor, which is built into the home button for security. Users can save up to five fingerprints to provide access to multiple users. The tablet also offers dual-SIM slot, 3G connectivity and voice calling capabilities.

The iBall Slide Bio-Mate features an 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

For photography, there's 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It is fueled by 4300mAh battery.

The tablet comes with a multi-lingual keyboard with support for 21 languages, and regional system languages and comes pre-loaded with several apps and games including WhatsApp, Hungama, Hungama Play, TOI, Asphalt Nitro, Danger Dash and Spiderman - Ultimate Power and more.

The iBall Slide Bio-Mate tablet is priced at Rs. 7,999 and is expected to go on sale across the country soon.
