LYF Flame 6 with 4-inch display, 4G LTE, VoLTE launched for Rs. 3,999


Reliance retail sub-brand LYF, soon after launching Flame 3 and Flame 4 entry-level smartphone and now launched Flame 6 in India.

Just like Flame 3/4, the Flame 6 offers Android 5.1 Lollipop, dual-SIM slot and 4G LTE w/ VoLTE (voice over LTE) support, and is also priced the same. Most of the specs are also same, but the phone comes with a different design with a leather like back cover.

The LYF Flame 6 features 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) TN display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM. On-board storage is 4GB, which can be topped via microSD card (up to 32GB). It gets 2-megapixel rear camera w/ LED flash and 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity is handled by 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is backed by 1750mAh battery.

What's the difference between Flame 3, Flame 4 and Flame ? The battery capacity, while the Flame 6 comes with a slightly bigger1750mAh battery, the Flame 3 and Flame 4 packs 1300mAh and 1700mAh battery respectively. Apart from battery, there is differences in the camera department Flame 3 (5MP/2MP camera) and Flame 4 (2MP/VGA camera).

Priced at Rs. 3,999, the LYF Flame 6 will be available via Reliance Digital and other retail stores across the country.
