OnePlus 3 will have flash sale on June 6 ahead of June 14 launch, 1,000 units up for grabs (only China)

OnePlus 3 launch is set for June 14, and the phone will be available for purchase on the same day without any invite. Ahead of the launch OnePlus is putting a total of 1,000 units of the OnePlus 3 for flash sale in China on June 6.

The flash sale price of the OnePlus 3 will be CNY 2999 (Rs. 30,000). However, OnePlus mentions that this price isn't the actual price, and the official price will be announced on launch day itself. If the price is lower than CNY 2999, OnePlus will pay the difference to the customer, if higher, the customer will have to pay the difference. Buyers can even opt out of the purchase completely if they want. In any case, OnePlus will ship the OnePlus 3 on June 15.

OnePlus 3 will launch in a virtual event on June 14. The event will start at 10pm IST [12.30 PM EDT (New York)] and OnePlus will be live streaming the event on OnePlus 3: The Loop Android app which is available for download on Google Play.

As for the specs, the OnePlus 3 is expected to come with full metal body, 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, Snapdragon 820 SoC w/ Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM (variants), 64GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, 3000mAh battery and run Oxygen OS  based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
