Selfie centric vivo X7 with 16MP front camera, front facing flash coming soon

For the past few days, Chinese smartphone manufacturer vivo have been teasing their upcoming selfie-centric phone, and the successor of X6 dubbed X7 regularly to keep enough hype before launch.

The main highlight of vivo X7 will be its front facing 16-megapixel camera and front facing LED flash, which means you will be able to snap better selfies in low light conditions. In addition to camera, vivo has teased some of the other specs as well.

As per the teaser, the vivo X7 will feature octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. It will flaunt a sleek metal unibody design in Gold color and have a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button, below the screen.

The vivo X7 is rumored to have a second powerful variant that will pack Helio X25 SoC, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Other rumored specs include 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p0 display), 21-megapixel rear camera and 3000mAh battery. Pricing is rumored to be CNY 2698 ($410 | Rs. 27,500) for the base model and CNY 3288 ($500 | Rs. 33,500) for the top-end model.

For comparison, the vivo X7 predecessor, the X6, featured 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, MediaTek MT6752 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP rear & 8MP front camera, 2400mAh battery and fingerprint scanner at the back.
