Swipe Elite Plus with Snapdragon 615 SoC, 3050mAh battery launched for Rs. 6,999


Budget tablet and smartphone maker Swipe, last year announced its online only brand Elite, and so far the brand has outed a couple of phones including Elite, Elite 2 and Elite Note in the Elite series. Now the company has launched an enhanced version of Elite smartphone dubbed Elite Plus, which comes with high-resolution screen, better processor and a bigger battery.

The Swipe Elite Plus sports a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Dragontrail glass protection and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor backed by Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be further increased via microSD card (up to 64GB). It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop based Freedom OS.

The camera department gets 13-megapixel (Samsung) rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 8-megapixel selfie camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB OTG connectivity. It is fueled by 3050mAh battery.

For comparison, the Swipe Elite flaunted a HD (720p) screen and featured Snapdragon 410 SoC and 2500mAh battery.

The Swipe Elite Plus is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting June 6. It comes in Ivory White and Midnight Blue colors.
