Ultimate Ears Boom 2, Megaboom speakers gets Siri and Google Now voice integration

Ultimate Ears is rolling out a firmware update to the UE Boom 2 and UE Megaboom, that adds support for Siri and Google Now voice integration to the Bluetooth speakers. With the voice  integration, you can play music on the speakers by simply giving voice commands, without using the phone, making the process faster and easier.

To use the functionality, you can press the Bluetooth button on the speaker once,  and ask Google Now or Siri to play music, check weather, search of restaurants and much more. The update is available through the UE Boom and UE Megabook companion apps for Android and iOS devices.

The UE Boom 2 and Megaboom speakers offer rugged design, IPX7 for waterproof, and 360- degree sound. These speakers are waterproof (IPX7), rugged and offer 360-degree sound. The UE Boom 2 is currently available in India for Rs. 15,995, while the UE Megabook is yet to launch in the country.
