Airtel's Happy Hours offers 50% data back for prepaid users on night time downloads

Airtel in an effort to attract more customer to make use of its mobile data plans, has launched Happy Hours for its prepaid customers. With the new service users can schedule downloads for all in-app content during night.

Users can schedule the download between 3am to 5am and will also be eligible to get 50 percent data back. For instance, if a user schedules a 50MB download at night, then 50MB data would be back credited to their account. The data back will be credited to customers after 6.00 am every day. The Happy Hours service is available to all Airtel prepaid customers by default.

App developers will need to integrate Airtel Happy Hours in their app in order to make use of the feature. Airtel has also released the full API integration Kit for developers at www.airtel.in/happyhours.

Happy Hours is already available on YouTube and FastFilmz. On YouTube, users will have to select 'Smart Offline' option and then 'Save Overnight with Happy Hours' to schedule the download for later (3am to 5am).
