Facebook Beta Grabs Offline Videos Feature
The much popular Offline Videos had made way to the public with YouTube and now with kind of successful stuff, Facebook has decided to add it and is already included in its Beta version. Apparently, team is supposed to be testing the feature and this is spotted by a beta tester and now making rounds at this tech place.
Image above, Courtesy of Android Police has been the proof for the same from the moment this feature was spotted. Now the interface being the same old boring one has an addition in form of Saved Videos. You are welcomed with a notification telling you that the video is being saved for offline use and you can see the progress too. The videos are saved in the same way like the YouTube and should not be understood as being saved on you SD Card/Internal Storage. Videos once tapped to save offline are saved in your Facebook Account ONLY.
Videos can be deleted at anytime the user wants so its a good move by the company for those who doesn't stick to YouTube only for the Video stuff as all viral videos sometimes comes earlier at Facebook. Head to version 85 or 86 of Facebook Beta and there you are with the Save thing. At the moment, there are no words on how and when this feature will be out in a stable release of Facebook that majority will be downloading from the Play Store.
