Honor teases Note 8 with 6.6-inch QHD (2K) screen
After launching the 5.2-inch Honor 8 smartphone with dual-rear camera, Huawei's sub-brand Honor is all set to unveil a giant phablet. Earlier this month a 6.6-inch Honor phablet with model number EDI-DL00 was certified by TENAA, but the name was a mystery.
Now the brand has confirmed in a new teaser that the phablet will be called Honor 8. However there are no details on launch date.
Honor in the teaser takes a dig at Xiaomi's 6.44-inch Mi Max with 1080p screen, saying that, the Honor 8 doesn't have a large screen alone, but has lots of surprises as well. For instance a 2K screen, which was earlier revealed by TENAA.
According to TENAA, the Honor 8 Note has 6.6-inch QHD (2K) OLED screen, octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, Android Marshmallow and a huge 4400mAh battery. It will sport a slim 7.18mm metal body and weigh 219g.
Now that Honor has started teasing the Note 8 we can expect the brand to announce the unveiling date soon.
