Latest iPhone 7 rumors tips battery capacity, Lightning Earpod

Apple's next iPhone family is supposed to come with new hardware and minimal design changes. Recently we got the first look at the of iPhone 7 / iPhone 7 Plus, thanks to alleged leaked images, revealing re-positioned antenna lines, larger camera cut out on iPhone 7 protected by ring and dual rear cameras of iPhone 7 Plus.

Now the latest information surfaced tips the battery life of iPhone 7. Reliable Apple iPhone leakster @Onleaks citing reliable sources, claims that the iPhone 7 will pack 1960mAh battery, which will be a slight upgrade over 1715mAh battery of the iPhone 6s.

If the claims are true, the iPhone 7 will get an increased 14 percent in battery capacity, by comparison to iPhone 6s. Apple will also improve battery life of iPhone 7 by tweaking the software and by utilizing the more efficient A10 processor.The battery capacity of the iPhone 7 Plus is not known, but if it gets the same 14.2 percent increase as iPhone 7, than its likely to pack a 3140mAh battery, when compared to 3140mAh battery on iPhone 6s Plus. @Onleaks notes the source of the leak is pretty "reliable not 100 percent but almost".

Meanwhile a handful of photos, showing Apple's new EarPods with lightning connector has also surfaced online. Multiple reports in past have suggested that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will ditch the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of audio via Lightning ports, and if the images published are the real deal, it confirms the report again.

The new EarPods will connect to iPhone 7/7 Plus through the nine-pin Lightning port. As per the images, the new EarPods looks similar to the existing earphones, but instead of 3.5mm jack offers a reversible Lightning connectivity for audio output.

Reports suggest that Apple will also launch a 3.5mm headphone jack to Lightning adapter for standard headphones. Note that there is no way to confirm the authenticity of the photos, so do take it with a pinch of salt.

Apple's 2016 iPhone line up is expected to be unveiled at the company' fall event in September.
