Lenovo CG Slate tablet for kids launched for Rs. 8,499
Educational technology company ConveGenius in collaboration with Lenovo has announced the launch of CG Slate tablet in India, aimed at kids for Grades K-5 and promises to make learning fun and informative. The CG Salte is the same Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 tablet that was launched in India last year for Rs. 5,499, but comes loaded with educational content.
The CG Slate is an NCERT curriculam based, self learning tablet that centers around a 'gamified' approach to learning, which means the tablet helps the child learn by engaging in games and learning important concepts through videos, interactive books, stories and worksheets. This will encourage kids to enjoy the process of education and also stay focused.
The tablet comes with 7-inch 1024 x 600 IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8127 SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera and 3450mAh battery. It runs Android Lollipop and offers Bluetooth, WiFi connectivity and Dolby audio-powered front speakers.
The Lenovo CG Slate is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be exclusively available from Flipkart. As part of launch offer, the first 1,000 tablets will be available at a discounter price of Rs. 7,499.
