Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia M5 gets Android Marshmallow

Sony has started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia M5. The Android 6.0.1 with build number 26.3.A.0.131 roll out first began for the M4 Aqua and M4 Aqua Dual in select regions.

The Xperia M5 is also receiving the latest Android build. The new build number is 30.2.A.0.100. Currently the E5603 variant is getting Marshmallow, while the other M5 versions, and M5 Dual will receive the update soon. 

The update for M4 Aqua is not being rolled out over-the-air (OTA), instead Sony states, "users need to use Xperia Companion via PC or Mac to check availability & update".

The latest Android build for Xperia M4 Aqua and M5 brings bug fixes, new features (Doze Mode, Now on Tap, App Permissions and more), added functionality and a better user experience after the update. It also includes the latest Google Security Updates.
