Xiaomi Redmi Pro coming on July 27

Xiaomi has scheduled an event in China on July 27 to unveil new products. The company was rumored to launch the Redmi Note 4 and it's first laptop, but that's not the case any more.

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Pro at the event. The company also revealed the a 'mysterious small partner' will be launched alongside Redmi Pro, however, details are scarce regarding this product.

Last week the Redmi Pro was spotted on Geekbench database. As per the listing, the Redmi Pro will pack MediaTek's deca-core Helio X25 SoC, 4GB RAM and run Android Marshmallow. The phone is likely to come with metal body, a fingerprint scanner at the back and is rumored to feature dual-rear camera setup. Earlier reports had stated that Redmi Pro will utilize Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC, so we will have to wait till official announcement to know the exact details.
