Alcatel Tru ultra-cheap $29 smartphone available at MetroPCs in the U.S

Alcatel has introduced an ultra-affordable Android smartphone in the U.S dubbed Alcatel Tru. The phone runs Android Lollipop, supports 4G LTE and sports a soft noir faux leather back.

The Alcatel Tru comes with 5-inch display bearing the resolution 480 x 854 pixels and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. 

It gets 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and Polaroid filters, and on the front there's 2-megapixel unit. Apart from 4G LTE, the phone offers the usual connectivity options like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery for "all day use'

Priced at $29 (after a $20 instant rebate and $60 Mail-in-Rebate), the Alcatel Tru will be available for purchase from MetroPCS in the U.S.
