Asus ZenFone 3 series landing in India on August 17

Asus' Z3nvolution India event is scheduled on August 17 in New Delhi, where the company will introduce the ZenFone 3 line up for the Indian market.

Asus has so far unveiled five smartphones under the ZenFone 3 series – ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Ultra, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, ZenFone 3 Max and ZenFone 3 Laser. It is not known which of these smartphones Asus will launch in the country.

All the ZenFone 3 series devices come with metal body, Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, fingerprint sensor on the back, USB Type-C port and runs Android Marshmallow.

The ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) has 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and 3000mAh battery.

The ZenFone 3 Deluxe (ZS507KL) feature 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, 23MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and 3000mAh battery. There's also a variant with Snapdragon 821 SoC as well.

The ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) features a giant 6.8-inch display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 23MP camera, 8MP front camera and 4600mAh battery.

The camera-centric ZenFone 3 Laser's specs include 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and 13MP PixelMaster rear camera, while the ZenFone 3 Max has 5.2-inch display, quad-core MT6737 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 4100mAh battery.
