Blu Pure XR with Helio P10 SoC, 4GB RAM launched for $300 [U.S]
U.S based budget smartphone maker Blu has launched a new smartphone dubbed Pure XR. The phone packs top-end specs and is targeted at the mid-range market. It is made out of “high-end solid metal” and has thin bezels and invisible antenna lines. There's also a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button.
The Blu Pure XR features 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 3D Touch display protected by a layer of curved Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has of octa-core Helio P10 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
For photography it gets 16-megapixel rear camera boasting advanced technologies like f/1.8 aperture, 1/3-inch sensor, 6P lens, phase detection auto-focus with laser focus and real time HDR. For clicking selfies there's 8-megapixel front facing camera.
It also features USB Type-C port, DTS Surround Sound Technology to offer best audio experience, and is fueled by 3000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 20 days of standby time. The phone is compatible with 4G LTE networks on T-Mobile and AT&T.
Considering the design and specs, the Pure XR appears to be a re-branded version of China's Gionee S8 for the U.S market.
The Blu Pure XR is priced at $300 (Rs. 20,000) and is available for purchase in the U.S via online stores Amazon and Best Buy.
