Coolpad Mega 2.5D with 8MP front camera, 4G VoLTE launched for Rs. 6,999

Coolapd has launched a new selfie-focused budget smartphone in India dubbed Mega 2.5D. The phone has 2.5D glass on top of a display and metal frame. It was originally launched in China this year as Coolpad Sky 3.

For clicking selfies, it offers 8-megapixel 83-degree wide angle front snapper with f/2.2 aperture. At the back there's 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Both front and rear cameras feature HDR, Collage, GIF support, professional shooting mode and are capable of recording 720p videos.

As for the other specs, the Coolpad Mega 2.5D has 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card.

The dual-SIM phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with CoolUI 8.0 on top and supports 4G LTE, WiFI 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery.

The Coolpad Mega 2.5D is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon India starting from August 24 via flash sale. It comes in Gold, Silver and Champagne colors.
