Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus gets an upgrade, 3GB RAM, new UI at Rs. 8,499

Lenovo has launched an upgraded K5 Plus that released in India earlier this month. The new Vibe K5 Plus comes with 3GB RAM, instead of 2GB on the previous edition. It also comes with a cleaner and faster UI that has almost stock Android experience and offers customizable launcher.

As for the rest of the specs, they remain unchanged. The Vibe K5 Plus runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 5-inch Full HD IPS display, octa-core Snapdragon 616 SoC, 3GB RAM 16GB storage and microSD card slot for storage expansion. It sports 13MP rear camera w/ LED flash and 5MP front camera.

Other features include aluminum body, Dolby ATMOS-powered dual speakers, TheaterMax technology (for VR experience via ANT VR headset), dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2750mAh battery powers the whole package.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus 3GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be available on Flipkart in Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold and Graphite Gray colors. The 2GB RAM Vibe K5 Plus is currently available on Flipkart for Rs. 7,999.
