LYF Wind 3, Flame 8 launched exclusively on Flipkart

Following the launch of Wind 2, Reliance Retails LYF brand has launched two new budget smartphones in India dubbed Wind 3 and Flame 8. For the first time LYF has partnered with Flipkart to sell these phones. Similar to other LYF smartphones, the Wind 3 and Flame 8 offers dual-SIM support, 4G LTE w/ VoLTE, Jio Preview (unlimited voice call, data for 90 days) and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The LYF Flame 8 is an entry level offering that has 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display,  quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor w/ Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt expandable storage (via microSD card), 8MP rear camera w/ LED flash and 5MP front camera. It is fueled by 2000mAh battery.

The phablet grade LYF Wind 3 offers 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor w/ Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be increased via microSD card. For photography it gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front snapper. A 2920mAh battery keeps it running.

The LYF Flame 8 and Wind 3 are priced at Rs. 4,199 and Rs. 6,999 and will be up for grabs during Flipkart’s Independence Day sale, which kicks of tomorrow.
