Moto Z Play with Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM gets certified by TENAA

Motorola (owned by Lenovo), in June launched the Moto Z series of smartphone. The first two members include the high-end flagships Moto Z and Moto Z Force that came with modular accessories called Moto Mods that snaps to the back of the phone for added functionality. Now the company is gearing up for the launch of a mid-range Moto Z series model dubbed Moto Z Play.

The Moto Z Play has already been spotted in benchmarks and couple of live photos. Now the handset has been certified by China's TENAA. As usual TENAA outs the product shots and specifications.

The Moto Z Play will have a design similar to Moto Z/Moto Z Force, but will offer mid-range specs. It will also support Moto Mods as well. As per TENAA listing, the Moto Z Play will feature 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage options, 16MP/5MP cameras with LED flash, USB Type-C, Android Marshmallow, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery.

Currently, there's no details when the Moto Z Play will be launched, but we can expect that to happen anytime soon.
