Google Teases Pixel Launch
Exactly 2 weeks ahead of October 4, Google has put out a teaser video showcasing it's plans to launch the Pixel smartphones on October 4.
Media invites have been sent out which confirm that the location of the launch event will be San Francisco.
The thirty second long video shows Google's search bar changing it's form to that of a phone. On the madeby.google.com webpage, you can enter your email ID to get all the alerts associated with the event straight in your inbox. Interestingly, the webpage also keeps your location in mind and will show you the event date depending on your timezone. So, if you live in the United States, this is what you will see:
And if you live in India, this is what you will see:
Google also appears to be investing in advertising about the Pixel phones. We have had reports that the teaser video was shown as a commercial video on Monday Night Football.
