Honor BLN-AL10 with dual rear cameras passes through China's TENAA, could be Honor 6X

This year, Huawei introduced the P9, P9 Plus, Honor 8 and Honor V8 high-end smartphones with dual-rear cameras starting at $350 (Rs. 24,000). Now the company is reportedly bringing the dual-rear cameras feature to phones in the more affordable sub-$180 (Rs. 12,000) price segment.

A new Honor phone with model number BLN-Al10 have been certified by China China's Telecommunication authority TENAA. According to reports the phone could be the successor of the budget Honor 5X and will be called Honor 6X.

The photos outed by TENAA reveal that Honor 6X will have a unibody metal design, curved glass on front, dual-rear camera with single LED flash and fingerprint scanner.

Unfortunately TENAA has not listed the specs, but we expect it to feature 5.5-inch 1080p display, dual-SIM slots, expandable storage, 4G LTE and Android Marshmallow with EMUI on top.

To recall, its predecessor, the Honor 5X had 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, Android 5.1 Lollipop, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE and 3000mAh battery.

Currently it is not known when Honor will unveil the Honor 6X, but since it has been certified by TENAA, we expect an official announcement in the coming weeks.
