Moto G4 Play lands in India, Amazon Exclusive

The little member of Moto G4 Family has arrived and is not as budget friendly as expected. Yes, the device was expected to be around 7500-8500 but the actual price revealed today for India is 9000(INR). The device was made official back in May and is being released today after the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. Lenovo with this Moto Lineup has tried to target each price segment but every device from the 4th Generation seems to be overpriced a bit, and the most seems to be this new member. Well, let's talk more about it.

First things first, 9000(INR) for Snapdragon 401! That seems like price of gold for a chinese toy. But, let's understand this Price from Moto's perspective. Moto E3 and E3 Power the next iteration for the E Series of Moto are all set to launch in India on 19th September with almost similar design and specs but surely some features will go missing as it being the least priced series from Moto. The fact can be, E3 couple might be priced around 7500(INR), this might have made the company to keep the price of G4 Play for 9000(INR) as to give this device a different outlook from E3.
Another plus points which gives some contrast to 9000 price point is that G4 Play comes with Rapid Charger, Removable Battery, Stock Android, Fast Upgrades and Water Repellent are the features that totally outstands this device from those of Xiaomi and stuff. Moto totally wins in these departments even being overpriced. These things really gives you a sigh of relief when you have first seen Snapdragon 401 and will make you think of giving it a shot in a more precise manner.
Nowadays almost every other device is comprising In Built battery and the truth of the moment is that everyone hates it. So G4 Play won't disappoint you here.
