OxygenOS 3.1.0 Rollout For The OnePlus 2 Starts Today, VoLTE Support MISSING
OnePlus has announced that it is updating it's 2015 flagship to OxygenOS 3.1.0. The update will be rolling out to all the OnePlus 2 users throughout the globe stating tonight.
The changelog for this "incremental" update is summarised below:

The changelog for this "incremental" update is summarised below:
- Fixed some notification issues
- Improved Doze Mode performance
- Added media sound toggle for alert slider
- Addressed alert slider/silent mode issue
- Implemented August 1 security patches for Android
- Implemented Quadrooter patch
- General bug fixes
Most importantly, this update lacks the support for VoLTE, something which is gaining a lot of craze in India because of Reliance Jio's free "welcome offer". The "welcome offer" allows a Jio SIM user to "try out" high speed 4G internet at no cost at all, for a period of three months (till December 31, 2016). The only thing the JIO sim user needs is a VoLTE compatible handset. There is a lack of such handsets in India because Reliance Jio is the first network in India to have a wide VoLTE coverage.
Looks like OnePlus missed this big opportunity to gain some more fans.
