Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime launched in India
Following the launch of Galaxy A9 Pro for Rs. 32,490, Samsung has launched two new Galaxy J series smartphone in India dubbed Galaxy J5 Prime and Galaxy J7 Prime. Both runs Android Marshmallow and boasts of metal unibody design, 4G VoLTE support, dual-SIM slots and fingerprint scanner embedded in to home button.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime has 5-inch HD display w/ 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13MP rear camera (w/ LED flash, f/1.9 aperture), 5MP front camera and 2400mAh battery.
The Galaxy J7 Prime on the other hand features a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD display w/ 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 3GB RAM, 16GB expandable inbuilt storage, 13MP rear camera (w/ LED flash, f/1.9 aperture), 8MP front camera and 3300mAh battery.
Both phones offers software features like S Power Planning, which saves a specific amount of battery only for calls and messages, and lets you forward your calls to another person who is around you, if your phone runs out of battery; Secure WiFi to make sure data that's transferring when using public hotspot are encrypted; S Secure which allows users to hide or lock apps; Secure Folder where the user can stores files for increased privacy & security; Ultra Power Saving mode; and S Bike mode for bikers safety.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime is priced at Rs. 14,790 and will be available from September end, while the Galaxy J7 Prime costs Rs. 18,790, and is already available from retail stores across the country. The phones comes with 10GB worth of Vodafone mobile data for three months at 1GB RAM.
