Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) with Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB RAM announced
Samsung has announced the successor of GalaxyOn7, the Galaxy On7 (2016), with a huge upgrade in China. Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy On7 (2016) sports a full metal unibody design, but now gets a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button for unlocking and mobile payment using Alipay (in China).
The Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) has 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) TFT display and is powered by 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor backed by Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card.
It gets 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, and 8-megapixel selfie camera. For connectivity there's support for Hybrid Dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is fueled by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) is priced at CNY 1599 ($240 | Rs. 16,000) and is now available in China. It comes in Gold, Pink Gold and Black color options.
Samsung is also teasing the Galaxy On5 (2016) powered by octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, but there are no details on pricing and availability yet.
