Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen announced
Samsung introduced the 10-inch Galaxy Tab A (2016) Android tablet with Marshmallow in Germany earlier this year in May. Now the company has released a new model of Galaxy Tab A (2016), that comes with S Pen.
The tablet will now offer the same S Pen tools and functionality such as translation, quick notes and more that were introduced with Galaxy Note 7. It also comes with a magnet connected back cover, which lets you to use the tablet in multiple modes like typing and viewing. Apart from the added S Pen functionality, the tablet also comes with more RAM and storage, while rest of the specs are identical to the original Galaxy Tab A (2016).
Coming to the core specs, the Galaxy Tab A 2016 w/ S Pen has 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) TFT display and is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).
It gets 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity duties are handled by single SIM slot, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. It if fueled by 7300mAh battery, which delivers up to 49 hours of talk time on 4G network.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) with S Pen is priced at 399,000 Won ($335 | Rs. 24,000) and is listed on Samsung's Korea website. There is no word on global roll out just yet.
