Airtel announces 10-day international roaming packs with unlimited incoming calls

Last month Airtel launched new 30-days international roaming (IR) pack with free incoming calls and reduced rates for mobile data, outgoing calls to India and local calls.

Today, the telecom operator has introduced a new 10-days pack for international roaming with unlimited incoming calls for its subscribers traveling to Singapore, Thailand, U.S, Canada, UAE and UK.

The new pack will come with 10 days validity, and will also offer free India calling minutes, free messages, free incoming calls, and bundles of data.

The 10 day IR packs start at Rs. 1,199 for Singapore and Thailand, with unlimited free incoming calls, 2GB mobile data, 250 minutes of free calling to India and 100 SMSs per day. Post exhaustion of the packs, the IR data will be charged at Rs. 3/MB and outgoing calls to India and local calls to any network will cost Rs. 3/minute.

For U.S, Canada and UK, the 10-days packs are priced at Rs. 2,999 and is bundled with the same benefits as the packs for Singapore and Thailand.

The new pack for UAE is also priced at Rs. 2,999, but offers only 250 free incoming calls, instead of unlimited calls, and post exhaustion call charges are at Rs. 10/minute. Other benefits are same as U.S, Canada, UK, Singapore and Thailand packs.

The new 10 day IR packs can be availed through Airtel website, My Airtel app, USSD and customer care centres.
