Honor Pad 2 8-inch tablet with 4G LTE support announced

Besides the Honor 6X with dual rear cameras, Huawei sub-brand Honor also announced the Honor Pad 2, a 8-inch tablet with 4G LTE support and voice calling capabilities.

The Honor Pad 2 sports an 8-inch Full HD IPS display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes with up to 32GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB).

It has 8MP rear camera with an LED flasha and 2MP front facing camera. 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS are the connectivity options on-board. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Emotion UI 4.1 on top and is fueled by 4800mAh battery.

The Honor Pad 2 16GB/WiFi model is priced at CNY 999, the 32GB/WiFi model is priced at CNY 1299 ($192 | Rs. 13,000) and the 32GB/4G LTE model is priced at CNY 1499 ($222 | Rs. 15,000). It comes in Gold and White colors.
