Intex Cloud S9 with 4G VoLTE support, fingerprint scanner, and Aqua Q8 3G launched

Intex has listed two new affordable smartphones on its website: the Aqua Q8 with only 3G support and Cloud S9 with support for 4G networks. Both are dual-SIM phones running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Intex Cloud S9 boasts decent specs including a bigger 5.5-inch HD display with DragonTrail glass on top, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and support for expandable storage via microSD card. It houses an 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP selfie shooter, and supports 4G LTE, VoLTE (compatible with Jio's network), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by a beefy 3650mAh battery and also has a fingerprint scanner.

The low-end Intex Aqua Q8 on the other hand has a compact 4.5-inch display bearing the resolution 480 x 854 pixels, 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC77317 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. For photography it has 5MP rear camera (with LED flash) and 0.3MP front facing camera. Backed by a 1650mAh battery, the Aqua Q8 supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Intex Aqua Q8 and Cloud S9 are priced at Rs. 4,200 and Rs. 6,499 respectively. The Cloud S9 is now available for purchase via Amazon India, while the Aqua Q8 will go on sale soon.
