itel it1520 with 13MP cameras launched for Rs. 8,490

Hong based itel Mobile has launched a new selfie-centric smartphone in India dubbed it1520. The brand made its debut in Indian market back in May this year with six handsets.

The main highlight of the handset is its front facing camera which is a 13MP unit with wide-angle sensor. The front camera also doubles as an Iris scanner for added security. The rear facing camera is also a 13MP unit. Both front and rear boast LED flash, promising brighter selfies in low light conditions.

As for the other specs, the it1520 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and comes with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Marshmallow, supports 4G VoLTE and is backed by 2500mAh battery. WiFi, Bluetooth and USB OTG is also supported.

The itel it1520 is priced at Rs. 8,490 and will be available across channels in the country. It also comes with itel's 100 days replacement warranty. At the said price point, the it1520 will compete with the likes of Moto G4 Play, Moto E3 Power and Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime.
