Leaked Xiaomi Mi Note 2 slides reveals specifications and price
Xiaomi's next big smartphone unveiling of the Mi Note 2will take place on October 25 in China. Now just few days before the official announcement, alleged details on specifications and pricing of the Mi Note 2 have leaked online via presentation slides.
If the leak is to be believed, the Mi Note 2 will arrive in two variants – one with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage priced at CNY 2799 (approx. 27,745), and the a Pro variant featuring 6GB RAM + 128GB storage carrying a price tag of CNY 2999 (approx. 29,725).
The slides also show that the Mi Note 2 will feature 5.7-inch 2K Super AMOLED display (from LG) with Force Touch and quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. The camera on the back will be a dual camera setup with a 23MP unit with Sony IMX318 sensor and a 12MP units with Sony IMX378 sensor. The font facing camera will be an 8MP unit.
Similar to Xiaomi's Mi 5s, the Mi Note 2 will pack Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner embedded underneath the display. It will also have iris scanner as an altrenative solution for unlocking the device. Other features revealed by the slides include 4100mAh battery, NFC support for Mi Pay and Quick Charge capabilities.
It is not clear if the slides are the real deal or fan made, so take the leak with a pinch of salt. We should find out all the official details when Mi Note 2 is announced next Tuesday. Stay tuned.
