Moto M and M Plus, Yet Another Series From Lenovo's Moto Leaks In Render and Shots

Seems like Moto has no plans to push the breaks in launching new phones every now and then. With 8 phones already launched from June till now which consists for Moto G4 Series, Moto Z Series and Moto E3 Series, its time now to jump up to a new alphabet again (like we saw with Moto Z). Yes, the new alphabetical series this time is going to be M.

What you're seeing in the image above is the render of the new Moto M and if to go with the design here it's safe to say that Moto is following the same design language this year, but with Moto M there are some minor changes which makes it stand out from what Moto has offered us with G4 and E3 (Moto Z has totally different design). The most noticeable change here is the Fingerprint Sensor sitting at the back. This is the first time ever that a Moto device will have the Fingerprint reader at the back. Not to mention those antenna bands and Speaker Grills are the reason to be surprised because this is something that Moto hasn't done till now.

Don't ask us why, but this device design seems to be a mixture of Apple, HTC, Samsung, Xiaomi. Apple because of Antenna Bands, HTC because of the back panel, Samsung because of the Speaker Grill placement and last but not the least Xiaomi because of that Golden Color and very identical Fingerprint Sensor. Also it will remind you of HTC Nova Plus. This device seems to be a premium phone (Metal Unibody) but according to some leaks and reports this can be a mid range device. That is a point to look forward to.

This new image came out yesterday that shows the front of the device in a very clear form. Though it accurately matches the render but that Moto logo isn't present in the render, though this is not a big question but still confuses before the release. 

This device comes in with the model number XT1662 which features 5.5" FHD Display and MediaTek CPU, 2.1 GHz Octa Core Processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 16/8MP Cameras and 3000mAh Battery . Another thing that is sort of a big confusion is that this device is said to be China specific, even the render has Chinese language. But this might come out to other markets too in the near future after the launch.

Moto M Plus

The image above gives is said to be the Moto M Plus which clearly has a different design from Moto M. There is a physical button or fingerprint sensor in front and this one is in black color. The moto logo which sits down in Moto M sits above the screen.

If this image really is for Moto M Plus, this again will be the first time ever that Moto will launch 2 different designs under the same category.

The reason of having fingerprint sensor at front in this device can be a different design of the  Rear Camera, but this can be said later.

Moto M Plus is expected to be a device with 6" FHD Display, Snapdragon 652 Chipset, 3000mAh battery. Other specifications are not available yet but keep an eye on this blog to get more information.

Both the devices are known to be released in China primarily and launch for other regions is in doubt. Lenovo is said to be planning a launch event in December 2016.
